Master’s in Engineering (M.E.)

Overview

The Master in Engineering course is a two-year course that deals with theoretical knowledge and the engineering aspect of science. The aim of a Master in Engineering is not on the technological studies or application-based studies unlike a Master in Technology. A Master of Engineering is more theoretical or knowledge-oriented or a study-based theory For some institutes, the course duration is for one year. Candidates get to choose the specialization in the masters on the basis of the specialization they had at the graduation level. Candidates are admitted into the Masters in Engineering course through the entrance exams such as GATE, SRMJEE PG, etc, or direct admission on the basis of the marks scored at graduation level. The minimum eligibility to apply for a Master in Engineering is to pursue a bachelor’s from a recognized board with at least 55% marks.
